Petersen Automotive Museum
A true homage to the car culture so deeply embodied by Wilshire Boulevard, the Petersen Automotive Museum occupies a 1962 building designed by renowned Los Angeles architects Welton Becket and Associates. The building was originally Seibu Department Store, the last department store built on the Miracle Mile. It later housed Ohrbach's department store and was adapted for use as the Petersen in 1994, with soaring fins added to the faŤade.

Hours: Tues.-Sun. 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Parking adjacent to museum, $6; enter from Fairfax Ave. south of Wilshire Blvd.
Admission: Free for museum members and children under 5; non-members: $10/$5 seniors, students with I.D., and active military with I.D./$3 children 5-12.
