Wilshire Words
Sponsored by Wordspace Writer's Collective
The past and present meet in a verbal portrait of Wilshire Boulevard, seen through the eyes of L.A.'s up-and-coming poets and writers. Blending essay, hip hop, poetry, and music, Wilshire Words brings to life L.A.'s history and culture through poignant and humorous excursions into the La Brea Tar Pits, the life of Gaylord Wilshire, the blessings of Saint Monica, and the search for success along the boulevard.
